Take our tried-and-true Brazos Pro Limited pistol, add a slide-mounted optic and you have the Brazos SMO.  A great pistol for USPSA Limited Optics competition, defense/carry, or just a fun shooting experience. We put a rear optic plate cut on our five-inch, unique Brazos Lightning slide that accepts the interchangeable AccuracyX Multi-Sight plate.  We precisely mount the plate and include the optic sight of your choice, so you are ready to go. This flexible mounting system means you can switch the optic sight if your shooting preferences should change.

  • Chamber freebored for loads up to 1.20 OAL

Optic Mounting Plate:

  • Rear optic plate cut accepts the interchangeable AccuracyX Multi-Sight mounting plate

  • Precise machining mates the plate securely in the cut; lug and screw holes are perfectly matched to hold the optic sight steady for precision and accuracy without loosening, screw breakage, or degradation over time

  • Optic plate cut mounts the scope low on the slide to create a streamline silhouette with snag-free operation

  • Mounting plate with integral slide racker available at no additional charge

  • C-More RTS2 with 6 MOA (standard)

Grip:

  • Cheely steel grip with aluminum magwell - Grip plug/beavertail does not provide any safety function

All Brazos guns are built exclusively by Bob – no assembly line and no junior/trainee gunsmith working on your pistol.  We use only top quality parts that are hand-fitted and hand tuned to ensure maximum performance and reliability. We manufacture many parts in-house or have them made to our specs by industry leaders.  At the end of the build process each gun is test fired for function and accuracy.  Bob test fires your gun prior to coating and then again after coating.  As a part of the final (after coating) test fire, he sights the gun in so that it is ready to go out of the box.
